A special thank you to Mr. Cole, all the leaders and parents for the many hours of work behind the scenes and this morning. I made a sizable deposit, in the Troop account, this afternoon with more to come this week. Having mentioned that, I would like to remind Scouts to turn in all remaining tickets and money on Tuesday! I had conversation with a spokeswoman from the church this morning and she was very impressed. She mentioned that Mother’s Day weekend is the perfect time for this venue. She will encourage the church members to attend in greater numbers next year.  I would like to encourage the PLC to incorporate that date as a fund raising tradition well into the future. So, once again thank you to all who participated.
We had a great “adult leader training” outing last Saturday evening. We had seventeen adults participate in a very enjoyable evening. I hope that we can get out at least once a quarter. Thank you Mr. Parizek and Mr. Butler for organizing the event.
West Clear Creek backpacking is coming up this next weekend. It is a fun trip and I would encourage all to participate. I will leave for the East coast tomorrow afternoon and will be gone for four days. So, I will see you on the outing.
