100th Birthday of Scouting Jamboree online celebration tonight

Good morning Troop 648
After their whirlwind tour of Boston, Philly, New York, DC, and other amazing historical locations, our T648 representatives in Jamboree troop 2017 have been at Fort AP Hill since Monday. Tonight is the formal celebration of the 100th year of scouting in the US, and portions of it will be broadcast online beginning at 5PM Pacific time tonight. The website is www.bsajamboree.org, and the Coles will be inviting Grandmother McAfee over for a BBQ and an extended view across the internet of 100,000 scouters celebrating a continent away. Scoutmaster Martin sends his greetings from Washington DC, where he and Mrs. Martin are stranded with a cancelled flight after attending portions of the Jamboree this week.
Please remember that there is no PLC this coming Tuesday, as many of our boy leaders will still be at Jamboree. Plan on PLC the following week, August 10th at 6PM.
Thanks!
Mr Cole
