T648 Chillin’ at Slide Rock – May ’24

Gorgeous canyon & day, but a bit tentative in testing the chilly snow run-off!
T648’s first brave slider!
The ‘ice’ now broken, here come the older scouts
After warming up sliding, next comes some radical cliff jumping!
Negotiating an extension to the originally planned exit time with an accommodating Scoutmaster
Hmmm – running out of gas. Might be hitting the time to close out a good day at the creek!
Navigating equipment out of the canyon to head home before an approaching afternoon storm
