Awakening early after sleep on the USS Iowa, ready to head to Catalina Island!
One free period after merit badges included island mountain biking
Many of us squeezed in a hike to Arrow Point at sunset
Waiting, not so patiently, for the red flag warning to be lifted for War Canoe launch
Still waiting for sea winds to die down….now it’s chase and capture games with other troops
Finally! We have made it over to our little beach camping corner of Parsons Landing
The return trip next morning back to Emerald Bay gets a little hairy – look out for the rock!

Many of us scaled the dramatic Silver Peak by sundown, coming back down in the dark
Many of the rest of us lashed a pioneer table, which won us the camp improvement contest!
Eventually sinking in this rowboat race, T648 won the Aquacade relay race led by Roni/kayak, Ben/swim, and Evan/sprint
