Well, the laundry is finished, BMW is washed inside and out and the boys are clean head to toe. So, finally I have a moment to sit down and reflect on the past week.  First, I would like to thank Mr. Butler for recommending Camp Mataguay.  Mr. Benyi was in charge of the Summer Camp outing this year and did an outstanding job.  Thanks Jacob for all your planning and organization. Thanks also to the other adult leaders Mr. Huston, Mr. Cole, Mr. Bennett and Mr. White who spent the week at camp.  The Troop had a successful week as is evidenced by the 81 merit badges and numerous advancement.  The pictures are on the troop web site; enjoy.  My camera did not come close to capturing the smiles and excitement on the boys’ faces as they climbed out of the gliders, following their flight.  We received numerous awards for the week.  The boys’ manner and uniform were excellent.  I am very proud of each and everyone!  I’m sure that there will be much discussion on Tuesday evening.
We have a busy month ahead of us. Please check the calendar and make sure you’re attending all the events. And, if that’s not enough, Summer vacation is over. Â School will be back in session during the month of August. Â Once again, I would like all registered Adult Leaders to meet at my house on Saturday afternoon, August 2nd for an important “planning session”. Â Details to follow. I will begin by handing out flyers this Tuesday. Â Please plan to attend; we have much to discuss.
